Sample barcode set-up for tradeshows:
Barcode formang:
1. Badge Number: Must start with A (Aendee) or E (Exhibitor) followed by 5 digit number.
2. First name: First name from the badge number.
3. Last name: Las name from the badge number.
4. Posion: Posion of the aendee or exhibitor.
5. Company: Company name.
6. City: Main company locaon.
7. State: Company’s state.
8. Phone: phone number.
9. Email: aendee email address.
Example: E10001*Jon*Doe*CEO*XYZ, Inc*Anywhere*CA*555-555-0000*[email protected]*
Inventory
Inventory Applicaon: select ‘Opons’ to run inventory applicaon. (Figure 43) Inventory opons: move cursor to select the
inventory applicaon to run. (Figure 44)
Scan Products opon:
1. Scan the product barcode; product descripon will appear in the ‘Product’ eld.
2. Place the cursor in the ‘Locaon’ eld and scan the product locaon, or enter manually by using the keyboard.
3. In the ‘Quanty’ eld, scan or manually enter the product quanty.
4. In the ‘Quanty Adjustment’ eld enter the quanty to be adjusted, all adjusted quanes must be entered as a posive
number (do not enter negave quanes). Once adjusted quanty is entered (posive numbers only), a screen with the opon
to add or subtract this amount will appear for selecon. Press the ‘enter’ buon found in the center of the arrow buons to
accept the data in each of the elds.
5. If the product already exists in inventory, the locaon and exisng quanty will automacally populate and the adjustment
amount can be entered at this me. Once the data is entered and inventory is adjusted, a review screen will appear with the
entered data with me and date stamp. Data can be saved to le or erased to begin a new entry. The reset opon can be used at
when needed.
